Services

Regular Sunday Worship

There is one service each Sunday morning at the new time of 10.30am when we all come together to worship. The service is usually available on Zoom (see details below) and may be recorded so you can watch it later.

Services are led by our minister, Rev Ian Griffiths, or another minister from the local circuit or by a local preacher, according to the preaching timetable.

We sing hymns from Singing the Faith and readings are usually from the lectionary (a plan of study of the Bible). We have an audio-visual system with two large screens where words are displayed. Refreshments are available after the service where we can get to know each other.

A Communion Service is held on the first Sunday in the month.

Healing and Wholeness

A Healing and Wholeness service takes place once a month (usually the 3rd Sunday) at 5pm. Led by Rev Keith Town and Beryl Quinlan, this is a quiet reflective time, concentrating on prayer and breathing while centring our thoughts and drawing on the power of the Holy Spirit. There is an opportunity to light candles and join in Holy Communion. Everyone welcome.

Café Church (ReCharge)

Café Church is a mid-week event run by Paul Burke. It takes place monthly, on Thursdays at 7pm in Portskewett Church Hall. We aim to relax and recharge over coffee, cake, video clips and conversation. It’s a different informal sort of church.

Junior Church

We are sorry that there is no Junior Church at this time but children are welcome in any of our services.
