Fairtrade

Chepstow is a Fair Trade Town and we are committed to using Fair Trade products wherever we can in our coffee shop, luncheon club and all events where refreshments are offered.

In addition we have a stand in the church hall where we display and sell a comprehensive selection of Fair Trade products. Products can be purchased during Beacon Coffee Shop hours or after worship services.

Have you tried the muesli or marmalade for breakfast? What about some of those delicious biscuits or get baking with the sugar and dried fruit.

Fair Trade enables producers overseas to be paid a decent price for their goods. This in turn enables them to feed their families, send their children to school and to obtain healthcare. All things that we take for granted in our country but are denied to people in poorer countries.

Click on the Fairtrade logo to find out more about the Fair Trade Foundation and what a difference small changes to your shopping list can make to the producers.

Cynthia is our Fair Trade co-ordinator and can also supply a Traidcraft catalogue which has even more gifts which she is happy to order for you or click on the Traidcraft logo to visit the online shop.

One way you could leave a lasting legacy would be to remember Traidcraft in your will.

A properly executed codicil to your will would achieve this.
